Area students on dean’s roll

SOUTHFIELD — Lawrence Technological University has announced the Dean’s Honor Roll for the spring 2022 semester. Students named to the roll must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average for the term. Area students attaining the honor include Charles Houghes, of Melvin, majoring in game art, and Gabrielle Gough, of Sandusky, majoring in nursing.

Chappel earns honors

CLEVELAND, TN — Sheridan Chappel of Sandusky has earned Dean’s List honors from Lee University during the spring 2022 semester. Dean’s List recognition is earned by full-time, undergraduate students with a semester grade point average between 3.7 and 4.0.

A new Houthoofd!

Josh and Jessica Houthoofd of Sandusky welcome their baby boy, Melvin John Houthoofd. Melvin was born May 31 at 8:13 p.m. He weighed 9 pounds 9 ounces and was 21 inches long. Mable and Marshall are excited about their new brother.
