WATERTOWN TWP. – Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a two-vehicle crash south of Sandusky involving a pickup pulling a wagon and a county road vehicle.

The collision occurred Monday at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Miller Road near South Sandusky Road.

Deputies along with the Sandusky Fire Department and Sanilac EMS were dispatched to the scene. According to the preliminary investigation, Mark Johnston, 63, of Peck was eastbound on Miller driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado and hauling a wagon when he lost control of his vehicle.

The Silverado entered the westbound lane and struck a road commission pickup driven by Spencer Osborne, 47, of Deckerville. Osborne was treated on scene by Sanilac EMS and transported to McKenzie Hospital for treatment of injuries. Johnston sought his own treatment.
