One hundred thirty high school students from around Sanilac County participated in Cardboard City on the courthouse lawn in Sandusky last weekend. The annual project raised approximately $6,000 – with donations still arriving - to help people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Students also went door-to-door in the rain Saturday evening, collecting non-perishable food and toiletry items.
