Cros-Lex’s Loeding competing in Koch Cup


Nicolette Loeding, a senior-to-be- at Croswell-Lexington this fall, and sailing partner Tess De Wilde Kohler were set to compete in the Koch Cup this past week. Nicolette Loeding, a senior-to-be- at Croswell-Lexington this fall, and sailing partner Tess De Wilde Kohler were set to compete in the Koch Cup this past week. Nicolette Loeding, a senior-to-be at Croswell Lexington High School this fall, was expected this week to sail in the 2018 Koch Cup, which is held every other year at Galveston, Texas.

Loeding and partner, Tess De Wilde Kohler, will be among a total of 32 teams, including 10 international teams, that will be competing in the event.

Loeding has been involved in Sea Scouts for one year. The program is for boys and girls 14 years of age and older, or has completed 8th grade.

De Wilde Kohler is a graduate of Royal Oak High School and just finished her first year at Katholieke Universiteit in Belgium. She competed in the Koch Cup held in Long Beach, California, in 2016 with Rory Loeding, Nicolette’s brother.
