J. Harley Ferguson, age 90, of Peck, passed away May 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Harley was born February 21, 1928 in Peck, to Effie and Duncan Ferguson. Harley served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany from 1950 to 1951. He married Thelma Pedrotti on July 25, 1951. They made their home in Peck and have been married 67 wonderful years.

Harley was a very loving husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed working on cars, lawn mowers or anything to help anybody out. He definitely was a very handy man and he could fix anything. He also enjoyed playing with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Harley is survived by his wife, Thelma; two sons, Charles (Paula) Ferguson and Timothy (Christine) Ferguson; son-in-law, Steve Bader; seven grandkids and seven great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy (Ferguson) Bader; great-grandson, Peter Ferguson; five brothers and four sisters and in-laws.

The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Mullally and the staff of Lake Huron Medical Center and Pastor Jerry Griggs and Pastor Diane VanMarter for their comfort and spiritual guidance.

Funeral Services were conducted at the Carman Banquet Hall in Peck.

Memorials may be made to wishes of the family.

Burial was in Elk Township Cemetery.
