Peck meeting to discuss fiber project

PECK — Agri-Valley Services will host a town hall meeting Thursday for the company’s fiber broadband internet project.

This summer AVS will begin installation of a fiber-optic network throughout the village to provide internet connections to residents and businesses.

The purpose of the meeting will be to provide background on the project, an update on construction, and answer questions.

The meeting will be held May 17 from 6:30- 9 p.m. in the Peck Community Center, 125 W. Lorraine Street.

AVS is a residential and commercial broadband internet service provider primarily serving Huron, Tuscola and Sanilac counties. The company is headquartered in Pigeon.
