Walk/Run for Autism

SANDUSKY – The Sanilac County Autism Awareness 5KWalk/Run & 1 Mile Kids Run will take place on Sat., Apr. 28, 2018. The races will start at Diamond Trail, next to Maple Valley – Kids 1 Mile at 9 a.m., 5K at 9:30 a.m. Cost to enter is $20 before April 13th (includes T-shirt), $25 after. Kids 12 & under, $10. Registration is set for 8-8:45 a.m. Online registration at – runsignup.com/Race/ MI/Sandusky/ SanilacCounty AutismAwareness5K. Funds raised will be used for playground equipment at Maple Valley ISD and to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout Sanilac County. Salmon Stakes in April

ST. CLAIR – The 40th Annual Salmon Stakes, put on by the Blue Water Sportfishing Association, will be held on Sat., Apr. 28, 2018. Anglers will compete for a share of $6000 in prize money for the largest King, Coho, Steelhead, Brown Trout, Lake Trout and Walleye in addition to the “super skipper”. Fishing will take place in Lake Huron. Weigh-in will take place in St. Clair at the Voyeuer Restaurant. For more information visit www.bluewatersportfishing.net.

National Walleye Tour coming

BAY CITY – Cabela’s National Walleye Tour will have a stop this summer in Michigan. Saginaw Bay, off of Bay City will be the tournament site on June 14-15, 2018. For further information go www.nationalwalleyetour.com.
