Because of this, we have some high expectations this year. We feel like we have a chance to qualify for the State Finals.”

Coach Cummings on the BWAC: “Armada and Almont will all be really strong this year. We feel like we should be able to compete with them for the BWAC championship.”

Coach Shaw on this year’s team: “We have a campaign of new faces this year that will help to fill gaps lost to graduation. We have a large team led by our veteran captains. We have had some quality practices despite the weather Michigan has been throwing at us. We plan on getting better with each meet, and practice. The thing that I have noticed is this group is very coachable.”

Coach Shaw on the BWAC: “We have a competitive league which we hope to compete with.”

Coach Stillson on the BWAC: “Obviously, Richmond will still be there. We will just take every game one at a time. In order to take the BWAC, though, you have to take down Richmond.”
