Police ask for public’s help in thefts

Law enforcement is hoping the public can help solve two unrelated crimes.

A Massey Ferguson tractor and brush hog were reported missing from a residence in the 3700 block of East Custer Road in Bridgehampton Township.

The farm machinery was reported missing from the backyard on April 5, and was last seen a week or two earlier, according to Sanilac County Sheriff Garry Biniecki.

Anyone with information about the theft, or who might have seen a suspicious vehicle in the area, is asked to call Deputy Jordan Katt at 810-648-2000.

Meanwhile, Croswell police want to solve the breaking and entering of a construction trailer that occurred the night of March 31.

Suspects entered the trailer that was parked on a home construction site and stole hand and power tools, tool belts, heaters, levels and other items, according to Chief of Police Dave Hall.

If you have information on the case, contact Croswell police at 810-679-2200, croswellpd@sbcglobal.net or private message the Croswell Police Department Facebook page.

You may remain anonymous. There is a reward leading to the identification and arrest of the persons responsible for the crime.
