Elgin Stoutenburg, age 89, of Deckerville, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Autumnwood of Deckerville. Elgin was born April 1, 1928 in Sandusky, to the late Frank and Edith (Markey) Stoutenburg. He was a longtime resident of Croswell, where he worked for Bricker Motor Sales, and Moore & Carter Lumber Company. He served on the Croswell Fire Department.

Elgin is survived by his daughter, Karen (Elmer) Boal, of Sandusky; and one brother, Edmond (Judith) Stoutenburg, of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Basil Stoutenburg; and his wife, Bianca Stoutenburg.

Visitation hours will be held Saturday, January 13 from 10-11 a.m. at the Hacker Funeral Parlors.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Hacker Funeral Parlors. Officiated by Elder Don Rudy.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Sandusky.
