Circuit Court

The following people have been sentenced in 24th Judicial Circuit Court:

Nicholas C. Vermeulen, 28, Sandusky. Police officer-assaulting resisting-obstructing. 45 days in jail with credit for 2 days served. Balance of jail time held in abeyance. 12 months probation, reimburse county for court appointed attorney fees.

Randy L. Tanguma, 31, Deckerville. Controlled substance-less than 25 grams. 60 days in jail with credit for 23 days served. Sentence may be served on weekends. Reimburse county for court appointed attorney fees.

Timothy J. Cray, 34, Brown City. Controlled substance-delivery less than 50 grams. 36 months to 20 years in prison. Second case: Bond abscond/forfeit. 18 months to 6 years in prison with credit for 105 days served. Sentence to run consecutive with above case.

Christopher D. Odom, 42, Lapeer. Operating-operating under the influence of liquor/per se. 180 days in jail with credit for 3 days served. Defendant may have work release. Reimburse county for court appointed attorney fees.

Samantha L. Wurm, 42, Lexington. Credit card-possession. 210 days in jail with credit for 1 day served. Restitution $17,197.

Eugene P. Loxton, 62, Lexington. Operating-operating under the influence of liquor/per se. 270 days in jail with credit for 111 served, 2 years probation, substance abuse treatment, 60 days community service, reimburse county for court appointed attorney fees.
