Arnold Walter Grow, age 71, of Newberry, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at United Hospice Service of Marlette.

Arnold was born April 2, 1946 in Sandusky, to the late Walter and Ruby (Chappel) Grow. He married Diane LeBlanc on April 2, 1999 in Marlette. Arnold worked as a tool and die maker for Pontiac Motors, and retired in 2001 after 36 years. He was a member of the UAW Local #653. Arnold farmed, played blooper ball, and enjoyed the Detroit Tigers.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (LeBlanc) Grow; two daughters, Wendi (Carl) Forester of Hillman and Denise Westover of Inkster; his son, Shawn Grow of Bay City; three sisters, Arlene Clinesmith, Virginia Grow and Susan (Troy) Ruff; four grandchildren, Dana (James) Bowler, Brian Westover, Bryana Westover and Cheyenne Westover; and several nieces and nephews.

Arnold was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Jane Grow and his sister, Sheila Fox.

A Funeral service was held at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette with Pastor Mike Hollenbeck officiating.

Burial took place in West Burlington Cemetery in Silverwood.
