Richmond golfers take BC Inv. title

Photo by Dale Ball CAPAC – With three golfers finishing among the top 10 individuals, the Richmond Blue Devils handily claimed the title at last Wednesday’s Brown City Invitational. The 18-hole event was held at Holly Meadows GC, Capac.

The Blue Devils, a member of the Blue Water Area Conference, finished with a low score of 337 to finish nine strokes better than the Marine City ‘A’ team (346). Three Sanilac teams also competed in the 16-team tournament. Cros-Lex was sixth with a 368, Sandusky was ninth with a 379 and Brown City finished 14th with a 407.

The medalist on the day was Richmond’s Noah Kosal with a three over par 75. The top Sanilac performances came from Cros-Lex’s Tanner Tabin and Sandusky’s Marshal Holt, who each fired a round of 84, tying for 7th.
