A gang of men have torn down the old church that stood so many years at the corner of Wells and Brown streets in Croswell. A new building will be erected this summer by Smyth and Straffon.

Frank Moore lost a valuable gold watch Saturday night. He came into The Jeffersonian office on Monday morning and inserted an advertisement. The advertisement paid off, as the woman at the laundry found the watch in a pile of overalls.

For the past three weeks H.H. Rice has had an incubator filled with eggs in the front window of his store. On Friday and Saturday the chicks started emerging from their shells, and now there are thirty of the little ones walking about and peeping.

A miscreant in Decker has been playing a despicable trick lately. He has been cutting the lines of horses that are tied up on the streets.
