The take-down occurred in the alley outside the building, on Lincoln Street, just east of the downtown business district.

“A major fugitive arrested in our little town,” said Lester.

Bridges was transported to Genesee County where he was arraigned the following day on charges of kidnapping, extortion, assault, felony firearms and probation violation.

Sandusky police and the Sanilac County Sheriff’s detective bureau and road patrol assisted in the apprehension.
