Delphyne S. Dore, age 95, formerly of Port Sanilac, passed away April 5, 2014.

She was born January 29, 1919 in Auburn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn (Brisette) Lozon. She married Charles N. Dore on November 14, 1936 in River Rouge. He preceded her in death December 28, 1990.

Delphyne was a member of St. Marys Church, the Altar Society and the Legion of Mary. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Eastpointe and the V.F.W. Auxiliary #8872, Port Sanilac.

Surviving are her children, Evelyn Martin of Redford, Harold (Nancy) of Roseville, Elizabeth Crow of Reed City, Timothy (Barbara) of Macomb, Rose (Roman) Graczyk of New Baltimore and Kenneth (LaSonne) of Garden City; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas; a son-in-law, Robert Martin and her dear sister, Beatrice Lavack.

A memorial mass will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Ave Maria Parish-St. Marys Catholic Church, Port Sanilac. The Rev. Donald Eppenbrock will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Old St. Marys Cemetery.
