“Jump” event raises $2,000



During “Jump Rope for Heart”, which takes place during physical education classes, students learn the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, nutrition, how the heart works and jump roping for other kids around the world that have a heart condition. Sandusky Elementary School students and staff collected $2,048, which will be sent to the American Heart Association to help fund research for kids with special hearts.
