Sandusky High announces top grads

Melanie Mrozek Melanie Mrozek Sandusky High School has announced the top graduating seniors for the Class of 2-14.

The valedictorian is Melanie Mrozek. The daughter of Scott and Donna Mrozek, she has a 4.0 grade point average.

Melanie is president of the National Honor Society, drum major of the band, and captain of Academic Games Language Arts Team. She has been involved in community activities including Sandusky city cleanup and Food-4- Friends.

Melanie will attend Central Michigan University to major in psychology and pursue a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology. She has received CMU’s Gold Award.

The salutatorian is Jarred Dorman. The son of Lynn Dorman and Troy Dorman, he has a 3.9684 grade point average.

Jarred has played hockey and baseball in grades 9-12, and soccer in grades 9-11. He served on student council in 9th and 10th grades. He is a member of the National Honor Society and active in Food-4-Friends. He has received the Academic Excellence and Senior Scholar awards.
