Scholar Athletes honored



Sarah Inbody of Deckerville High School (top photo) and Noah Nicholl (bottom photo) of Yale High School were honored as recipients of the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Scholar-Athlete Award at the 2014 MHSAA Boys Basketball State Finals at the Breslin Student Events Center in East Lansing. Both seniors will receive a $1,000 scholarship from Farm Bureau Insurance to be used at the institution of higher learning they attend this fall. Farm Bureau Insurance awards 32 scholarships yearly to students with a 3.50 or higher GPA who have previously lettered in, at least, one sport in which post-season competition is sponsored by the MHSAA.
