David Alan Glinski, Sr., age 57, of Sandusky, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013, after a long, courageous battle of multiple myeloma, at United Hospice Residence in Marlette.

He was born

December 30, 1955 in

Detroit to Jerome and Helen Glinski.

David’s working career began at Ford Motor Company at the age of eighteen, and retired after thirty years of service at the age of forty-eight.

David had many talents and interests. He enjoyed target shooting, flying remote control airplanes, coffee and visiting with his family and friends. He loved his grandchildren dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Terri; parents, Jerome and Helen Glinski; daughter, Dawn (Chris) Bringer; son, David (Melissa) Glinski Jr.; stepson, William Hanzinger; stepdaughter, Vicky (Eric) Davis; brother, John (Peggy) Glinski; sister, Patricia Pavlic; mother-in-law, Marion Kenny; many nieces and nephews; and six dearly loved and cherished grandchildren, Ashley, Alana, Austin, Gavin, Elijah, and Jesse.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Liberty Lanes, Sandusky with Reverend Darrel Smith officiating. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service.

Memorials may be made to United Hospice, American Juvenile Diabetes Association, Multiple Myeloma Foundation, or donor discretion.
