Circuit Court

The following people have been sentenced in 24th Judicial Circuit Court.

Jerry D. Watts, 42, Lexington. Guilty: operating under the influence of liquor 3rd offense. Dismissed: allow suspended person to drive 2nd offense, habitual offender 3rd conviction. 18 months to 5 years in prison, credit for 7 days served. No objection to boot camp.

Daniel T. Smith, 47, Snover. Guilty: operating under the influence of liquor 3rd offense. Dismissed: fail to maintain security, allow suspended person to drive 2nd offense, unregistered vehicle, unlawful use of license plate. 180 days in jail, credit for 2 served or spend balance in residential treatment program. Electronic monitoring. May not drive during probation.

Amy B. Doerr, 50, Ubly. Guilty: operating under the influence of liquor 3rd offense. 90 days in jail, credit for 2 served. 2 years probation. Work release.

Steven E. Cooke Sr., 43, Lexington. No contest: amended attempted deliver-manufacture marijuana.

Dismissed: deliver-manufacture marijuana, conspiracy to deliver manufacture marijuana. 45 days in jail, credit for 18 served. 2 year probation. 5 days community service. Substance abuse program. May not drive. Driver’s license suspended 6 months, no restricted license 1st 30 days.

The following people have pled guilty to contempt of court for failure to pay child support.

Timothy J. Ureel, 37, Peck. 90 days in jail or pay on both files $150 same day, $250 by Jan. 31 & $158/month in one case, & $287.50 in the other.

Thomas Czenkus, 49, Yale. 30 days in jail on both cases or pay $350/month in both cases.

Clayton Harrision, 52, confidential address. 45 days in jail or pay $38 same day & $203.95 by Jan. 17. Court permitted the waiving of $688.05 in arrears.

Sooner M. Hoist, 28, Carsonville. 30 days in jail, credit for 1 served consecutive to any other sentence. Released when pays $2,917.79.
