MARGARET LOU “PEGGY” VANCONANT
She was born in Yale on Tuesday, September 27, 1938, the daughter of the late Virgil and Norma (Alexander) Molesworth.
Her marriage to Henry VanConant was October 5, 1957, in Ohio.
Peggy was a loving individual who always put her family first and treated many others like they were her family too. She was a lifetime Peck resident who worked as secretary for Peck High School for 26 years before her retirement in 2003. She is survived in addition to Hank, her husband of nearly 53 years; one daughter, Sheryl (Paul) Stone of Peck; one son, Robert (Darlene Lewis) VanConant of Croswell; five grandchildren, Tracy (Dustin) Krause, Amanda Ernst, Micheala (Anthony) Hackett, Alyissa VanConant and Samantha VanConant; three great-grandchildren, Caiden, Cole, Carter and a “bun-in-theoven”; five siblings, Shirley (Bob) Mix, Patty (Ray) Orchard, Audrey (Jerry) Warner, Richard (Patty) Molesworth, and Lynn (Darlene) Molesworth, as well as many nieces, nephews and a world of friends.
She is preceded in death by one son-in-law, James Ernst in 1998.
