Sandusky teen finalist for state homecoming queen
The state competition is April 24-25 at the Radisson Hotel in Lansing. The winner will receive a cash scholarship plus an expense paid trip to the National Finals to compete with queens from other states for America's Homecoming Queen.
Haskin, the 2009 Sandusky High School Homecoming Queen, is a senior at Sandusky where she is also captain of the Academic Games science team, captain of the girls' varsity soccer team, and a member of the National Honor Society. She has been a 4-H member for 11 years, a performer with the Oehrlein Dancers for 14 years, and attends McGregor United Methodist Church.
Haskin will graduate high school with highest honors, and plans to attend Michigan State University with an interest in animal science.
She is the daughter of Rob and Cathy Haskin and granddaughter of Bob and Lorna Haskin and Nick and Rosemary Willing, all of Sandusky.
