      This past Saturday marked the third anniversary of the worst day of my life. My wife and I were eight months into the pregnancy of our second child, a pregnancy that had been normal and healthy…up until that dreadful day. In the end, our daughter Natalie did not make her way into this world alive.

      Dear Editor: Re: "M.R.R." Heard of It? (In My Opinion, Feb. 17). When the Sanilac County News arrives at our Florida address, we read it from front to back to catch up on "at home" news. What an absolute waste of time the above article was...and an insult to readers.

Bid should have gone to Tubbs
      Dear Editor: Let's score Signature Ford (Owosso) and Tubbs Brothers (Sandusky) and see if the low-bid policy that this County Commission is using is logical. Let's also keep in mind that we are talking about saving $450. We went through this same thing the last time sheriff vehicles were bid for the county.
